this record blew away my expectations. it hit me in the same way when tragedy released ‘vengeance’ in that a band you would think is somewhat pigeon holed went in a direction and totally surprised you. until this release PiB were fun live but to be honest kind of meh on the ole ipod. dudes pooled from their reservoir of inspiration and put together a hardcore record that breaks some boundaries. i didnt want to list but here goes some of the influences i hear: big black, fracture, and naked raygun. i slept on the record release shows but am psyched to hear these songs live.
