stoked on this. modern skate graphics have really been hit or miss the past few years. i loved the michael leon era of rasa libre, some of the zero, toy machine graphics are pretty grabbing. it will be interesting to get a look into contemporary skate graphics as the market has been pretty saturated with the past.

i cant remember when exactly i became obsessed with popup books. a professor in college developed one based off of master works of arts and brought in the paper engineer he worked with. yes there is such thing as a paper engineer. today on boingboing they featured paper engineer Sam Ita creating a page from his pop up interpretation of 20,000 leagues under the sea.

a newly released video of curator Paola Antonelli of MOMA previewing design and the elastic mind in 2007. a great exhibit to be introduced to the world of data visualizations. a friend, rob carlsen, is at the ITP program in NYU and reading his blog can be inspirational to see different ways of looking at things from the perspective of a friend.
