interested in getting my hands on this vodka of his, crystal head, quadruple distilled through carbon AND diamonds. fuckin bling. hes also getting into wine as well. dan aykroyd wines sole purpose is to make wine accessible to everyone in an understandable way. i enjoy wine but am not a nerd about it. found a wine taste visualizer the other day. would be rad to see this paired with specific bottles of wine.

parducci a label from the 8 label winery mendocino wine company is touting the fact that wines made under the parducci label are carbon neutral, a first for the united states. what does carbon neutral mean? from the link “It can refer to the practice of balancing carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels, with renewable energy that creates a similar amount of useful energy, so that the carbon emissions are compensated, or alternatively using only renewable energies that don’t produce any carbon dioxide”. Wine making does not seem like it requires a heavy carbon load to make but they are making the investment with using grapes from family farms, using solar power and using earth-friendly packaging (from the site). this is cool. i remember the first eco friendly packaging i experience was a quadaliacha cd that used post consumer waster for the booklet and soy based inks. i stumbled onto this label from eating at azure and them having many of their wines and touting their achievements. i had the pinot noir and i have to say it was tasty.
